The new generation of photographers are comfortable in the computer room, they like the bright rooms of their youth, forgetting the mass of dull pictures and only remembering the good ones! They know what to do, how to practice their craft.
So in a sense we should remember that photography changes, but remains the same, something to enjoy, to see and perhaps touch. It is not something that each generation had for itself alone. Remember what has gone before but work in the present.”
I quite like the sound of this. Photography changes, but parts will always remain the same.

Everyone who considers themselves a photographer should be intimately familiar with one of these.
For the longest time I had of those which would shock you if you touched it wrong. Not the best idea for working with wet hand and chemicals, but somehow that just seemed to fit.

Those chemicals will always make me smile, I get nostalgic now and again. Maybe I will have to have my own dark room one day. Though I will have to have my own photo studio first.
